A brilliant few days here at The Oast Studio - from macramé and custard tarts to an evening of sewing and laughter. Here's a look at what everyone's been up to, plus a couple of classes with spaces still open, including next week's Suminagashi marbling if you fancy joining us.
THIS WEEK AT THE OAST
MACRAME DOG LEADS
With Annabelle
A lovely session knotting macramé dog leads, each one made by hand with real care. Made with love for Lisca the fox-red Labrador, Poppy the dalmatian and Bella the toy poodle!
EVENING STITCH TOGETHER
With Annabelle
Another evening of fun and laughter, with everyone bringing along their own project to work on — including Laura, who was busy with her commission to crochet penises for a hen party! (Yes, you read that correctly.) Don't let that put you off: by September I'm sure she'll be back to making children's toys!
Our next monthly get-together is on 9th September at 7pm — all welcome.
CUSTARD TARTS

A brilliant afternoon spent baking together with a lovely group of ladies. We have one space left on 29th September, if you fancy joining us.

SEWING SKILLS

Eight ladies joined us this week to take their sewing skills to the next level — learning to sew perfect seams, insert zips and work with elastic, and growing in confidence at the machine along the way.

SUMINAGASHI MARBLING
Wednesday 12th August
9.30am - 1pm
One space available for this Wednesday's calming session of Japanese water marbling - a few quiet hours spent floating ink across water to make beautiful, one-of-a-kind patterns. We'd love you to join us.
FELTED & BEADED NECKLACE
Thursday 20th August
9am - 1:30pm
Choose from a vast array of coloured wool and beautiful glass beads for a wearable piece of art. A meditative, creative process that results in a real show-stopper.
SEVEN SISTERS - FELTING
Saturday 29th August
9am - 1:30pm
Capture the beauty of the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs in wool as you discover the relaxing art of needle felting. Perfect for beginners, you'll leave with a stunning framed artwork ready to brighten your home.
