There is plenty of free parking and a beautiful secluded roof terrace for sunny days.

Run by the lovely Gary and Maria, it's one of our favourite places to escape to!

Babylon

Babylon

This is such a lovely place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Try their mushrooms and marmite on toast or check out their specials board, which changes daily. We have yet to have eaten anything less than delicious there and top it all, it is set in a wonderful garden centre (plus you get to drive accross the Ashdown Forest to get there)

Do be aware last orders for lunch are at 3pm

The Hatch Inn

The Hatch Inn

Just a 5 minute drive from The Oast Studio, this old English pub, whose origins date back to 1430 serves up really good classic pub food. Their fish and chips are particularly good!

If the weather is fine there's a lovely garden, or inside in Winter there's always a fire burning and a warm welcome.

The Beacon

A little further away, on the road to Tunbridge Wells, you'll find The Beacon. tucked down a side road, it's easy to miss.

They serve simple brunches & lunches from their Garden Bar, which has lovely views over their gardens. They also have a restaurant, where i've had probably the Sunday roast dinner ever!
