Our first visit to the Oast. My wife and I thought this would be a great festive activity to do together. Alison was ready when we arrived and we were greeted by the smell of the freshly baked welcoming custard tart and the brewing coffee.

 

The course was well-paced and well structured with expert advice and assistance all the way through. The mince pies we made survived the journey home and we have just tried the first ones. They are amazing. Fruity, moist, just the right level of sweetness and Alison’s pastry recipe is fantastic.
