STONEHENGE NEEDLE FELTING

The time leading up to the Solstice is powerful and magical - so join us for this special Summer Solstice workshop to 'paint' with wool and create a light-filled needle-felted landscape of iconic Stonehenge. Using soft wool fibres layered like watercolour, you'll create a diffused, impressionist-like image in a wonderfully forgiving, meditative process. Your finished, framed piece goes straight home with you - plus a special Afternoon Tea from The Oast Bakery is included throughout the day.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
How to 'paint' with wool fibres, layering them to create depth and perspective. Techniques for creating a diffused, impressionist-style landscape. How to work with soft, cloudy wool fibres to capture light and shadow. The meditative process of needle felting a large-scale landscape. How to frame your finished piece professionally.
