NEEDLE FELTED ROBIN with Cecily Kate

Treat yourself to a cosy morning of needle felting and leave with your very own handmade robin, ready to perch on your mantelpiece, tuck among your Christmas decorations or give to someone special.
In a small, friendly group of just seven, Cecily Kate will guide you every step of the way, from shaping the first soft wool form to adding the finishing touches. You’ll watch your robin come to life as you blend rich reds and warm browns into delicate feathers, shape a little beak and create a twinkly eye using nothing but wool. Every robin turns out a little different, with its own character, and it’s always a lovely moment when the whole group sets theirs side by side at the end.
Settle in with freshly brewed coffee and home baked cake, enjoy the peaceful countryside setting on the edge of Ashdown Forest, and give yourself a few unhurried hours to switch off before the Christmas rush begins. Whether you’re completely new to felting or have tried it before, you’ll go home with a robin to treasure and the skills to make more.
