With Annabelle Davis

Suitable for: Beginners and Improvers
Class Size: 6

What's included:
A large selection of fabric remnants
One 45cm x 45cm cushion pad

Learn some essential sewing skills as we explore the art of making a classic patchwork cushion.
We will spend the morning selecting fabrics and creating a beautiful patchwork panel. Once this is ready, and we have enjoyed a delicious lunch, we will have the afternoon to turn this panel into a cushion ready for your sofa or armchair.

We have a good selection of fabric remnants to choose from, but you are also welcome to bring along any pieces you may like to include. Patchwork is a lovely way to use fabrics which hold special memories.
Please avoid any velvets of fabrics with a nap.

You will learn:
How to set up your sewing machine - and some trouble shooting
How to understand the different qualities of fabric
How to assemble your patchwork pieces
How to sew and finish seams neatly
How to turn your patchwork into a beautiful cushion with a zip.

The Oast Studio is a wonderfully cosy place to spend some quality time with friends, being creative and chatting the hours away.

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours.
