Join us for this lovely workshop to make a stunning needle felted owl with the expert guidance of Cecily Kate from Art Felt Fibres. Over the course of the session you'll shape, layer and detail your own barn owl, perched on a silver birch stump and ready to take home.

WHAT YOU'LL MAKE:

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
How to shape core wool forms
How to create all the layers of feathers using subtle layered colour effects and markings with your wool and needles
How to create realistic eyes with a glint of light in them using only coloured wool and your needle (no glass eyes)
How to observe images of various barn owls in nature and then capture the essence of this wise nocturnal bird of prey
