Join Helen for a fun workshop exploring Modern Calligraphy using dip pen and ink.

Modern calligraphy isn't just a creative skill, it's a mindful, rewarding art form that anyone can learn.

We will begin with the basics—perfecting fluid and graceful strokes and shapes, under turns and crossbars, before progressing to the upper and lower case alphabet, learning about entry and exit lines, linking letters and constructing words.

Following a short break Helen will demonstrate different techniques to create stunning effects and finishes to greeting card designs.

To end the session we will look at creating 6 beautiful cards and several gift tags to impress your family and friends.

Suitable for beginners or those looking for a refresh of the technique!
