THIS CLASS IS PERFECT IF YOU
You love the sea and would like to capture it in a new and unexpected medium. You'd like to try needle felting for the first time or develop skills you already have. You enjoy a creative morning that produces something genuinely beautiful to take home.
WHAT YOU'LL MAKE
Three miniature needle felted seascapes, each mounted in its own shadow box frame with glass - finished during the workshop and ready to hang as a set or give individually as gifts.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
How to "paint" with wool — laying dry loose fibres in layers, just as you would build up washes in a watercolour. How to create depth, perspective, light and shadow within a small seascape. How to build up and refine your image, adding and removing fibres freely without damaging your work.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
All materials needed, three shadow box frames with glass, felt canvas, and teas, coffees and freshly baked Oast Bakery cakes throughout the morning.
