A zip bag is a brilliant beginner's sewing project and you can never have too many. Whether it's a make-up bag, a pencil case, a coin purse, or a bag for plugs and phone chargers when you're travelling, they're just really useful.
Join us for this session to make one or two, and to learn the skills to carry on making more at home. Annabelle Davis will guide you gently through each step, so you'll leave with both a finished bag and the confidence to keep going.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
How to set up your sewing machine, with some troubleshooting along the way; how to understand the different qualities of fabric; how to sew and finish seams neatly; how to insert a zip; and how to insert a lining.
WHAT YOU'LL MAKE:
A beautiful lined zip bags of your own - a make-up bag, pencil case, or travel pouch - plus the skills to make plenty more at home.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All materials, plus teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked cakes from The Oast Bakery to keep you going.
WHAT TO BRING:
Just yourself — everything is provided. If you'd like to protect your clothes, you're welcome to bring an apron.
