You've always been curious about needle felting but aren't sure where to start. You love the Sussex landscape and would like to capture a little of it. You enjoy a creative process that's forgiving, tactile and genuinely therapeutic.
WHAT YOU'LL MAKE
Your own needle felted artwork of Ditchling Beacon Dew Pond, built up in layers of merino wool on a pre-felt canvas — framed during the workshop and ready to take home or give as a gift.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
How to select and layer colours to create depth and atmosphere. How to build perspective, light and shadow using wool fibres. How to add foreground detail to bring your landscape to life. How to frame your finished piece.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Everything you need — felting needles and needle tool, wool felting pad, pre-felt canvas, merino wool in a range of colours, landscape reference images and a wooden picture frame with glass. Plus teas and coffee throughout the morning with freshly baked Oast Bakery cakes.
