This workshop is perfect for those who have been on one of our beginner's cushion making workshops, or for those who already have some basic sewing skills and would like to explore the art of cushion making a little further.
You will learn:
How to insert a concealed zip
How to add piping
Adding some piping or takes a cushion to a new level. You can have fun playing with colour contrasts and improve your sewing skills and knowledge.
If you would like to bring your own fabric, you will need a metre for your cushion, plus a quarter of a metre for the piping. A medium weight cotton or linen are easiest to work with and appropriate for this project. Please avoid velvet or any fabric with a nap.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours.
