This workshop is perfect for those who have been on one of our beginner's cushion making workshops, or for those who already have some basic sewing skills and can't resist a frill in their lives!
You will learn:
How to insert a concealed zip
How to make and attach a Frill
Frilly cushions are so on trend at the moment and they really add a bit of fun to your sofa, bed or arm chair. Adding a frill takes a cushion to a new level. You can have fun playing with colour contrasts and really improve your sewing skills and knowledge.
If you would like to chose your own fabric, please bring half a metre for your cushion, plus 25cm for a frill. A medium weight cotton or linen are easiest to work with and appropriate for this project. Please avoid velvet or any fabric with a nap.
Alison from The Oast Bakery will treat us to some of her delicious baking and plenty of teas and coffees to keep us going.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours.
