The pleasure of painting transcends the need for artistic skill, offering a liberating and joyful experience accessible to everyone. Engaging in painting allows individuals to express emotions, explore colours, and create abstract forms without the pressure of achieving perfection.

Taking inspiration from the seasons, this class is a gentle introduction to water colour painting where you will discover how to mix colours and learn to let go of the fear of putting brush to paper and simply enjoy the experience.

Ruth is a very experienced teacher who offers gentle guidance and encouragement. She focuses her classes on enjoying the process and letting go of any preconceived expectations.

No artistic experience required. All materials are provided, however if you wish to protect your clothes we suggest you bring an apron! Plus Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats.
