BEGINNERS WATERCOLOUR CLASS

Do you think you can't paint? Afraid you won't be good enough, or believe you have no 'artistic' ability? Then this is the perfect class for you.
The pleasure of painting goes far beyond artistic skill it's a liberating, joyful experience open to everyone, a chance to express yourself, explore colour and create freely without the pressure of getting it 'right'. Taking its inspiration from the seasons, this gentle introduction to watercolour will show you how to mix colours and, above all, how to let go of the fear of putting brush to paper and simply enjoy yourself.
Ruth is a very experienced teacher who offers gentle guidance and encouragement, with the focus always on enjoying the process and letting go of any expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
How to mix colours and work with watercolour, how to take inspiration from the seasons, and - most importantly - how to relax, let go of expectation and enjoy the process. No artistic experience required.

All materials, plus teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats from Alison at The Oast Bakery to keep you going.
WHAT TO BRING:
Just yourself - everything is provided. If you'd like to protect your clothes, you're welcome to bring an apron.
