GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE
With: Annabelle Davis, Sutura Sewing
At The Oast Studio, Hartfield, East Sussex
Does your sewing machine make you feel nervous? Have you always wondered what all the buttons are for? And those extra presser feet... what do they do? Whether you have a manual or a digital sewing machine, old or new, bring it along to The Oast Studio and get to know it with Annabelle's guidance. In this relaxed, hands-on session, you'll learn the basics needed for most sewing projects, discover troubleshooting options, and even learn how to take out the bobbin casing and give your machine a good clean - you'll be amazed at how much fluff has gathered there!
With time to experiment and play with different stitches, you'll make a simple item to take home and leave feeling confident with your machine. Don't have your own machine? No problem - you're welcome to come and learn how to use one of ours!
