NEEDLE FELTED WREN WORKSHOP - THE OAST STUDIO, EAST SUSSEX With Cecily Kate Discover the meditative craft of needle felting as you create one of Britain's most beloved birds. In this hands-on workshop, Cecily Kate will guide you step-by-step to bring a charming wren to life, even if you've never tried needle felting before. Duration: 4.5 hours Suitable for: All Class Size: 7 What You'll Learn You'll master the art of wrapping and shaping core wool forms, building subtle layers of coloured wool to create the wren's distinctive feather markings, needle felting fine details like the glint in the eye using only wool, sculpting a delicate beak, and wrapping tiny legs. By the end of the session, you'll take home your own beautiful needle felted wren. All materials and equipment needed are provided, plus Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
