WEARABLE ABSTRACT ART With: Debbie Moores At The Oast Studio, Hartfield, East Sussex What if your earrings were also works of art? In this wonderfully creative workshop, you'll learn a captivating technique combining watercolour and acrylic inks on resin-glazed paper to create completely weightless, entirely original earrings like nothing you'll find in any shop. Alongside your jewellery, you'll also create up to six pieces of your own original abstract art - small enough to frame or send as cards, but beautiful enough to keep forever. Messy, joyful and deeply satisfying, you'll leave with wearable art and wall art to treasure, plus the skills and confidence to continue experimenting at home! DETAILS: Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm Suitable for: All Class size: Maximum 8 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to create abstract art using watercolour and acrylic inks. How to cut, file and paint the edges of your earring shapes. How to apply and cure resin. How to drill and attach findings to finish your earrings. Techniques you can continue to develop and experiment with at home. WHAT TO BRING: Nothing - all materials and equipment are provided! WHAT'S INCLUDED: All materials and equipment for both your jewellery and artwork. Gift bags for your earrings. Card templates and mini frames for your art. A delicious two-course lunch. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
