Ready to take your watercolour painting a little further?
You’ve discovered the joy of putting brush to paper - now it’s time to explore what else you can do with it.
In this follow-on class, Ruth will guide you gently deeper into the world of watercolour, helping you understand how to bring your paintings to life with greater depth, dimension and confidence.
You’ll spend time with the colour wheel, discovering how colours relate to each other, how to mix more complex shades, and how to avoid the muddy results that catch so many painters out. You’ll also explore blending techniques and learn how different brushes and brushwork can transform the feel of a piece.
As with the introduction class, the focus is always on enjoyment and exploration rather than perfection. Ruth’s gentle, encouraging approach means there’s no pressure, just the quiet pleasure of learning something new and watching your skills grow.
