WATERCOLOUR SKILLS Ready to take your watercolour painting a little further? In this follow-on class, Ruth will guide you gently deeper into the world of watercolour, helping you bring your paintings to life with greater depth, dimension and confidence - with the same focus on enjoyment and exploration that made the introduction class so special. DETAILS With: Ruth Johnston Duration: 4 hours Suitable for: Those who have attended our Introduction to Watercolour class, or who have some basic watercolour experience Class size: 6-8 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to work with the colour wheel to understand how colours relate to each other, mix more complex shades and avoid muddy results. You'll also explore blending techniques and discover how different brushes and brushwork can transform the feel of a piece. WHAT TO BRING: No artistic experience required. All materials are provided - however if you'd like to protect your clothes, we suggest bringing an apron! Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats. WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY: "Such an enjoyable class. 4 hours just flew by! Cancellation Policy
If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
