STONEHENGE NEEDLE FELTING With: Cecily Kate At The Oast Studio, Hartfield, East Sussex The time leading up to the Solstice is powerful and magical - so join us for this special Summer Solstice workshop to 'paint' with wool and create a light-filled needle-felted landscape of iconic Stonehenge. Using soft wool fibres layered like watercolour, you'll create a diffused, impressionist-like image in a wonderfully forgiving, meditative process. Your finished, framed piece goes straight home with you - plus a special Afternoon Tea from The Oast Bakery is included throughout the day. DETAILS: Time: 10am - 4:30pm Suitable for: All Class size: 8 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to 'paint' with wool fibres, layering them to create depth and perspective. Techniques for creating a diffused, impressionist-style landscape. How to work with soft, cloudy wool fibres to capture light and shadow. The meditative process of needle felting a large-scale landscape. How to frame your finished piece professionally. WHAT TO BRING: Nothing - all materials are provided! If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
