Make A Sleeping Mouse with Cecily Kate At The Oast Studio, Hartfield, East Sussex A peaceful morning, a wisp of wool, and a little mouse asleep in your palm. Curious about felting but not sure where to start? This gentle, welcoming workshop is the perfect introduction. Over a relaxed, hands-on morning you'll explore a range of techniques - colour blending, wet felting, needle felting, and sculpting fibres into form with Cecily Kate guiding you step by step. You'll create your very own Sleeping Mouse in a Woolly Vessel to take home, and you'll leave with everything you need to make a second one at home, so you can keep practising your new skills. These techniques carry across to all sorts of future projects, from charming little animals to abstract pieces - it's all about creativity, experimentation, and discovering the quiet joy of working with wool, whatever your experience level. All materials are provided, and Alison from The Oast Bakery will keep you going with teas, coffees and freshly baked treats throughout the morning. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
