With Annabelle Davis Duration: 4.5 hrs Suitable for: Sewers who have completed our Beginner's Sewing Class or are already familiar with a sewing machine and would like to improve their skills and knowledge. Class Size: 8 What's included: Plenty of fabric remnants to experiment with Sewing machines - or you are welcome to bring your own Organic teas, coffees and homemade cakes from The Oast Bakery Learn the most essential sewing techniques to take your skills to the next level. This hands-on workshop will give you the confidence to take on a range of sewing projects with a professional touch. By the end of the session, you’ll have practiced the techniques on fabric samples and gained skills you can apply to your sewing projects at home. This beginners’ sewing machine course covers: Zips Double-fold hem Rolled hem Seam Finishes French seams Bound seams for a professional inside finish Elastic Buttonholes and Buttons (if we have time) Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
