With: Cecily Kate Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm Suitable For: All Class Size: 6 What's included: All materials needed Teas, coffees, freshly baked cakes and a delicious homemade lunch from The Oast Bakery Discover how to make an adorable realistic Mouse and colourful felted acorns under the expert guidance of Cecily Kate, from Art Felt Fibres. You will be guided all the way through basic and intermediate felting skills, including how to use the needles, blend colours, sculpt and refine form. During this workshop you will learn: How to form the core mouse shape - a great skill for needle felting other small creatures How to wrap simple wire for your mouses's arms, feet and tail How to use a template to keep your mouse in proportion. How to needle felt layers of authentically coloured wool so you can breathe life into your mouse How to wet felt acorns You take home your adorable needle felted Mouse & Acorn plus the printed template so you can scale it down to make a perfectly proportioned mouse family, if you wish! If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
