Create three beautiful spring landscapes in wool and take them home framed and ready to hang - all in one creative morning with Cecily Kate. Tutor: Cecily Kate Time: 9am - 1:30pm Level: Suitable for all, beginners and those with some experience Class size: 6-8 THIS CLASS IS PERFECT IF YOU You love the idea of needle felting but aren't sure where to start. You're drawn to landscapes and would like to capture the feeling of spring in a new and tactile medium. You enjoy a calm, meditative creative process with beautiful results. WHAT YOU'LL MAKE Three miniature spring landscapes, each needle felted onto a pre-felt canvas and finished with delicate floral and foreground details. All three are framed in glass-fronted shadow boxes during the workshop - ready to hang as a set or give as handmade gifts. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN How to lay dry wool fibres in soft layers, just as you would build up washes in a watercolour. How to develop depth, perspective, light and shadow within a small landscape. How to add spring details - flowers, foliage and gentle foreground elements - to bring each scene to life. Cecily Kate will guide you every step of the way. WHAT'S INCLUDED All materials needed, three shadow box frames with glass, felt canvas, and teas, coffees and freshly baked Oast Bakery cakes throughout the morning. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
