INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING Lino cutting/printing is a wonderfully satisfying craft - and once you've got the basics, it's something you can easily continue at home. In this hands-on class, Laura Fricker will guide you through everything you need to know, from designing and cutting to inking, registering and printing. Using nature as your inspiration, you'll create your own unique design and learn how to use colour to achieve the best results - perfect for a print for the wall or cards for special occasions. DETAILS: With: Laura Fricker Duration: 4 hours Suitable for: All levels, including complete beginners Class size: 8 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to create your own design using nature for inspiration; how to safely cut your lino; how to ink and register your lino block; and how to use colour in your prints to achieve the best results - skills you can easily take home and build on. WHAT TO BRING: Nothing at all - all materials and equipment are provided. Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious homemade cakes throughout. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
