Needle Felting Workshop: Make a Goldfinch The goldfinch is one of Britain's most joyful garden visitors — vivid, distinctive and instantly recognisable. In this wonderful hands-on workshop you'll learn to recreate one in beautiful, lifelike detail using the art of needle felting, guided every step of the way by the wonderfully talented Cecily Kate. From shaping the initial form to building up layers of colour, fashioning delicate legs and achieving that bright, glistening eye using nothing but wool, you'll leave with an artisan-quality bird that looks almost ready to take flight - mounted on its own birch base and ready to display at home. No experience needed. Just a love of nature and a willingness to have a go. Cancellation Policy

If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
