Service Description
With Annabelle Davis Suitable for: Beginners and Improvers Class Size: 6 What's included: A large selection of fabric remnants One 45cm x 45cm cushion pad All other materials needed Tea, coffee and custard tarts on arrival A delicious home-made lunch Learn some essential sewing skills as we explore the art of cushion making. You will learn: How to set up your sewing machine - and some trouble shooting How to understand the different qualities of fabric How to sew and finish seams neatly How to insert a zip If you would like to chose your own fabric, please bring a metre for your cushion. A medium weight cotton or linen are easiest to work with and appropriate for this project. Please avoid velvet or any fabric with a nap. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
