Service Description
Felted Lampshade Workshop There's something quietly extraordinary about making something functional as well as beautiful. Over two consecutive mornings in our Hartfield studio, you'll learn the ancient crafts of wet and needle felting to create a lampshade that is entirely, uniquely yours - designed by you, made by hand, and ready to bring warmth and character to your home. Working with soft merino wool and natural fibres, day one introduces you to the meditative art of wet felting, where water, soap and a little patience transform loose wool into smooth, seamless felt with a beautiful organic edge. On day two you'll move into needle felting, adding decorative details, texture and pattern before shaping and assembling your creation onto its frame. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little damp. Cancellation Policy
If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
