FELTED ART SOAPS These beautiful art soaps make the most wonderful eco-friendly Christmas gifts and stocking fillers - and making them is a genuinely lovely way to spend a morning. Cecily Kate hand makes every soap herself using organic ingredients, free from palm oil, SLS and parabens, and you'll get to choose your favourite scent on the day. DETAILS: With: Cecily Kate Duration: 4 hours Suitable for: Beginners & improvers Class size: 6-8 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to needle felt beautiful designs onto organic soap using Shetland and Corriedale wool. Each soap is gently exfoliating, 100% biodegradable and fills the room with the most divine natural fragrance - working just as beautifully displayed on a mantelpiece or bedside table as it does in the bath. The felting skills you'll gain transfer beautifully to other projects too, from landscapes to wet felted vessels, and once you know the steps making more at home is wonderfully easy. A perfect project to recreate with children! WHAT TO BRING: All materials are provided, including a 100% wool felting mat and needles, Shetland and Corriedale wool, and enough materials to felt at least two soaps. Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked cakes throughout. ACCESSIBILITY Most of our classes are held upstairs. Cancellation Policy
If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
