Service Description

With Annabelle Time: 10am - 4:30pm Suitable for: Intermediate Class Size: 7 What's included: A large selection of fabric remnants One 45cm x 45cm cushion pad All other materials needed Tea, coffee and custard tarts on arrival A delicious home-made lunch This workshop is perfect for those who have been on one of our beginner's cushion making workshops, or for those who already have some basic sewing skills and can't resist a frill in their lives! You will learn: How to insert a concealed zip How to make and attach a Frill Frilly cushions are so on trend at the moment and they really add a bit of fun to your sofa, bed or arm chair. Adding a frill takes a cushion to a new level. You can have fun playing with colour contrasts and really improve your sewing skills and knowledge. If you would like to chose your own fabric, please bring half a metre for your cushion, plus 25cm for a frill.  A medium weight cotton or linen are easiest to work with and appropriate for this project. Please avoid velvet or any fabric with a nap. Alison from The Oast Bakery will treat us to some of her delicious baking and plenty of teas and coffees to keep us going. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. Cancellation Policy

If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
