CURTAIN MAKING SKILLS - THE OAST STUDIO With Annabelle Davis Duration: 4.5hrs Suitable for: Beginners Class Size: 6 This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to create beautiful, professional-looking curtains at home. You'll make a small-scale sample curtain with lining and pencil pleats, learning all the techniques you need to tackle full-sized curtains with confidence. You will learn: How to choose and measure your fabric How to add a lining How to add curtain header tape How to hem your curtain and lining neatly What's included: Lining Fabric Header Tape Thread Teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats from The Oast Bakery Please bring half a metre of curtain fabric as we will be making a small scale curtain to learn the process. Please avoid velvet or any fabric with a nap. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
