With Nicoline Falmer-Nielsen Time: 9am - 1:30pm Class size: 8-10 Suitable for: All What's Included: All materials to make 2 peonies plus some extra to make more at home Tea, coffee and homemade cakes Welcome to the Paper Peony Workshop! This workshop will focus on the beautiful peony, a flower that's perfect for those who want to take their paper flower-making skills to the next level. We will start by making the intricate centre of the flower and then build it up to create both full and less full versions of the flower. To achieve a more realistic look, we will be working with pre-hand-dyed crepe paper and using paint, markers, and pastels to add highlights to the flower. During the workshop, we will make two flowers and explore various techniques on how to layer large flowers with lots of petals. Additionally, I will be teaching you how to create leaves to add more authenticity to your flowers. By the end of the workshop, you will have created two beautiful peonies and will have materials to take home to make a few more. This workshop is perfect for those who have already tried making crepe paper flowers and want to improve their skills. It's also suitable for beginners who have nimble fingers and are eager to learn a new skill. Watch out - crêpe paper flower making is highly addictive! It is very relaxing and enormously satisfying when you see your flowers evolve. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
