In this relaxing, hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided step by step through the magical process of botanical printing – a natural dyeing technique that captures the delicate shapes and colours of plants directly onto fabric. You’ll be using the Dirty Pot method – an eco-friendly, low-waste technique that lets you play with gathered vegetation and metals to produce rich, organic prints. It’s a wonderfully creative and mindful process, and no two results are ever the same. Throughout the day, you’ll: - Choose your own leaves and plants to work with - Prepare your fabric using simple techniques - Learn how to create and care for your Dirty Pot dye bath - Bundle and ‘cook’ your scarf - Unwrap the final piece and reveal your unique design - Take home your finished scarf and the knowledge to make more Whether you’re new to botanical printing or just love working with natural materials, this is a space for you to explore your creativity, enjoy the beauty of the natural world, and make something truly one of a kind. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
