Service Description
With: Amber Halsall Time: 10am - 4:30pm Suitable for: Beginners and Improvers Class Size 8 What's included: All materials needed A delicious 2 course lunch, refreshments & home baked treats throughout the day. This one-day course in watercolour would suit both beginners and the more experienced. Working from plant and flower specimens we will cover all the techniques necessary to portray the colours and textures seen to produce an accurate study or group of small studies. We will use various watercolour techniques to mix colours and match to the plant. Layering and blending to create the appropriate depth of colours. You will also discover how to create realistic texture and detail using dry brush techniques. There will be regular demonstrations throughout the day and step by step guided instruction. Plenty of one-to-one help will enable you to work at your own pace. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
