BLUE TIT FELTING - THE OAST STUDIO, EAST SUSSEX With: Cecily Kate Join us for this delightful workshop and discover how to needle felt one of the UK's most striking song birds - The Blue Tit. Cecily Kate will guide you every step of the way even if you are completely new to needle felting. Suitable For: All Class Size: 6 During this workshop you will learn how to make a Blue Tit using techniques including wrapping and shaping core wool forms and learning how to needle felt subtle layered colour feather effects. You will also discover you how to create a bright glistening eye using only wool and also how to fashion delicate bird legs finished off by attaching into a wooden birch base to give you bird stability. All materials are included and Alison from The Oast Bakery will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious freshly baked treats. Accessibility: Please note that most courses are held upstairs. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
