Create a gorgeousl autumnal felted vessel with Cecily Kate - a beautifully round, embellished piece that works equally well as a striking art object, a plant pot, or a unique gift for someone special. Using wet felting and needle felting techniques, Cecily Kate will guide you through choosing your own colour palette from a vibrant spectrum of wool and silk fibres, felting around a modern inflatable ball and adding beautiful botanical details. A technique easily replicated at home - the possibilities are endless once you know how! Please note: wet felting involves soapy bubbles, water and a bit of elbow grease - roll up your sleeves and get stuck in! DETAILS: With: Cecily Kate Duration: 4 hours Suitable for: All levels Class size: 8-10 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to layer and wrap wool and blend colour in reverse; how to use water temperature and natural soap to felt fibres; and how to needle felt botanical embellishments onto your finished vessel. WHAT TO BRING: All materials are provided. Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep you going with teas, coffees and delicious homemade cakes throughout. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
