ASHDOWN FOREST AUTUMN LANDSCAPE with Cecily Kate At The Oast Studio, Hartfield, East Sussex Build on the skills from your first landscape with Cecily Kate and take your needle felting a little further as you “paint” your own view of Ashdown Forest with wool. Layer over 30 gorgeous shades of fibre to capture the distant South Downs, mist-covered valleys, russet bracken and purple heather, while learning how to create a sense of distance, foreground and texture. The soft, cloudy quality of the wool gives your landscape a beautiful impressionistic feel, and fibres can easily be added or removed as your picture develops. A wonderfully relaxing and creative day, you’ll create a unique needle-felted landscape inspired by the rich colours and character of the autumn countryside. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
