With Summer slowly unfolding and pollination underway it’s time to celebrate the beauty of Butterflies!

Come activate your inner Lepidopterist and learn how to needle felt some exquisite UK specimens using natural wool fibre. You will learn how to use your butterflies for ‘visible’ mending sweaters (especially useful for moth eaten cashmere) or mount them in a wooden frame, ready for your wall.

Suitable for all skill levels, even if you are a complete beginner.

• How to pin and mark out a butterfly drawing

• How to create subtle layered colour effects with your wool and needles

• How to mount your butterflies into a wool backing
