Cecily Kate will guide you through basic and intermediate felting skills, including how to use felting needles, blend colours, sculpt and refine form as well as wet felting the tail and the woolly nest.
During this workshop you will learn:
How to form the core mouse shape - a great skill for needle felting other small creatures
How to tightly wrap wool for the head
How to wet felt around a small resist for the nest and also wet felt a tail
How to needle felt all the elements together so you can gently breathe life into your snoozing mouse, matching its heart beat up to 632 times a minute!
You'll take home your adorable needle felted Chritmas Mouse in his cosy Nest, plus the spare part of the tail and the remaining half of the nest so that you can make another perfectly proportioned napping mouse pup if you wish!
