The Great Spotted Woodpecker is especially common around the Ashdown Forest with its distinctive bouncing flight coupled by its loud call and 'drumming’ displays that echo throughout the trees.
During the Spring the great spotted woodpecker is also a common visitor to our gardens, happily tucking in at bird feeders and often bringing their offspring to feeders too! As a result of such exciting sitings many of our Oast needle felting community have been asking Cecily Kate to bring this iconic British bird to life!

If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place.
