Welcome to the Giant Paper Peony Workshop!

This workshop will focus on the beautiful peony, a flower that's perfect for those who want to take their paper flower-making skills to the next level.

We will start by making the intricate centre of the flower and then build it up to create both full and less full versions of the flower. To achieve a more realistic look, we will be working with pre-hand-dyed crepe paper and using paint, markers, and pastels to add highlights to the flower.

During the workshop, we will make  explore various techniques on how to layer large flowers with lots of petals. Additionally, I will be teaching you how to create leaves to add more authenticity to your flowers. 

You will also have the opportunity to hand dye your own paper.

This workshop is perfect for those who have already tried making crepe paper flowers and want to improve their skills. It's also suitable for beginners who have nimble fingers and are eager to learn a new skill.

Watch out - crêpe paper flower making is highly addictive! It is very relaxing and enormously satisfying when you see your flowers evolve.
