This class is the perfect blend of the fun of making a lampshade to spruce up your home, with the relaxing process of painting with watercolours under Ruth's gentle guidance.
Everything you need is provided and you will be taken through each process step by step, ensuring you achieve a beautiful result.
You will go home with a fabulous new lampshade for either a pendant or a table lamp.
The Oast Studio is a wonderfully cosy place to spend a creative day with friends, and as we chat away, Alison from The Oast Bakery will keep us supplied with her delicious home baked treats.

Just took part in the lampshade making class with a group of friends, to celebrate a couple of our friend’s birthdays. I am a craft novice, my initial apprehension at whether 'I could do this' soon settled. The countryside setting is lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed, and everything was set up for us so well. Our 2 teachers Annabelle and Ruth were very friendly, they encouraged our creativity and guided us through the different stages very clearly. It was great fun. To top it all off, Alison had baked a delicious cake for us all at tea time.
Was so impressed with everybody's finished shades. A really great experience whether you come individually or as a group!
