STAINED GLASS APPLIQUÉ WORKSHOP Learn how to create a vibrant stained glass appliqué artwork using a beautiful fusion of traditional stained glass and mosaic techniques. This creative and rewarding workshop is suitable for all levels including complete beginners and offers plenty of scope to experiment, adapt designs, and make something truly unique to take home. Tutor: Debbie McDermott Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm Level: Suitable for all Class size: 8 people THIS CLASS IS PERFECT IF YOU: Are curious about working with glass, whether you’re a beginner or have some experience Enjoy hands-on, creative processes Would like the freedom to personalise a design and create a unique artwork No previous experience with stained glass is required. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN How to cut and shape glass safely and effectively How to arrange and secure coloured glass onto a clear background How to grout your appliqué piece An introduction to traditional stained glass techniques, including leading and soldering WHAT YOU'LL MAKE A stained glass appliqué artwork, created on a clear glass panel, finished & framed ready to take home. You’ll be able to choose from several designs and will be encouraged to adapt and alter them to create your own unique piece. WHAT'S INCLUDED All materials and equipment needed to make your artwork Refreshments, home-baked treats, and a delicious two-course lunch ACCESSIBILITY Some of our classes are held upstairs. Cancellation Policy
If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
