CRÊPE PAPER POPPIES With Nicoline Falmer-Nielsen Learn to create stunning, detailed poppy flowers with Nicoline - a beautiful skill to have as we head towards Remembrance Day, and a truly meaningful make. Using pre-hand-dyed crêpe paper and pastels, you'll master the art of crafting realistic poppies that are perfect as a lasting tribute, a gift, or simply a gorgeous addition to your home. Whether you're picking up paper flowers for the very first time or looking to take your skills to the next level, this relaxed and rewarding workshop is designed to work for all abilities. You'll leave with beautiful creations and all the skills and materials to make more poppies at home - long after the class is done. DETAILS: Duration: 4.5 hours Suitable for: All levels (nimble fingers helpful!) Class size: 8–10 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: How to build the pod of the poppy using a variety of techniques; create fuller individual stamens; cut and shape realistic cup-shaped petals; make poppy buds; use pre-hand-dyed crêpe paper and pastels to add authentic colour accents; and make leaves for added authenticity - plus all the skills to keep creating at home. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please note that we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. However, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member — just let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, once the course is fully booked, we can attempt to resell your spot through our database and social media. If we are successful, we can either issue a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) or offer you a place on an alternative course, subject to availability.
