This one-day course in watercolour would suit both beginners and the more experienced.

Working from plant and flower specimens we will cover all the techniques necessary to portray the colours and textures seen to produce an accurate study or group of small studies.

Amongst other things we will use various watercolour techniques to mix colours and match to the plant. Layering and blending to create the appropriate depth of colours. You will also discover how to create realistic texture and detail using dry brush techniques.

There will be regular demonstrations throughout the day and step by step guided instruction. Plenty of one-to-one help will enable you to work at your own pace.
