APRON MAKING

Aprons are a great project for improving your sewing skills, and they make a good Christmas present too. You could make one as pretty as you like, or go for classic denim and make the perfect gift for the man in your life - Dad, brother, partner?

You will learn:

• How to set up your sewing machine - and some trouble shooting

• How to understand the different qualities of fabric

• How to sew and finish hems neatly

• How to add a pocket

• How to make and attach waist and neck ties

What's included:​

• A large selection of fabric remnants

• All other materials needed

• Tea, coffee and cake

 

Please bring 1.5m of fabric, a medium weight cotton, linen or light denim are easiest to work with and appropriate for this project.

Alison from The Oast Bakery will treat us to some of her delicious baking and plenty of teas and coffees to keep us going.
