CHRISTMAS GIFT BAGS
With Annabelle Davis from Sutura Sewing
Suitable for: Beginners and Improvers
These adorable drawstring bags are brilliant for gifts at Christmas. They are just the right size to fill with some chocolates or a nice scented soap, Christmas socks or a candle.
Fill them with little gifts for children, or make 24 to create a stunning advent calendar.
They are fully lined and a fun way to use Christmas fabrics - or any fabric you fancy!
Once you have learnt how to make them, you can size them up or down and make more at home to add the wow factor to all your Christmas gifts
During this workshop you will learn:
-
How to measure and cut your fabric
-
how to add a lining
-
How to add a drawstring channel
-
How to insert the drawstring.
What's included:
-
A large selection of fabric remnants
-
All other materials needed
-
Teas, coffee and delicious treats from The Oast Bakery
If you would like to bring your own fabric, please choose a light to medium weight cotton - fat quarters are perfect.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours.

"I had such a good day.
Thank you Annabelle for all your sewing expertise and guidance and Alison for the delicious food. It’s the equivalent of a day at a spa, soul nurturing, a day for oneself, creating something with your hands."
